I only had the opportunity to meet Tony once. It was at HPT in '95 and about 110 degrees. Tony had some trouble with his tranny in practice and I stopped by in the pits. Tony stopped what he was doing and explained the problem to me, as if we were neighbors talking across the fence. Thats what I remember about Tony, he remembered where he came from, and had no complacency whatsoever. From that point I became a Tony Roper fan, and always will be. Our thoughts go out to the entire Roper family. Tony will live on in our hearts forever. Give Alan, Davey, Adam, Clifford, Neil, and Kenny a hard time there in Heaven. God Bless
