We went to Tony's visitation tonight. We were not surprised by all the people that had came. I think the whole town of Fair Grove was present. Plus all the "out of towners" that came in. The presence from Nationally known drivers, locally famous drivers, track owners, parts companies, and crew members was tremendous also. I believe the estimate was around 2500 people.
If this many people came to say good-bye, we know he was loved and will be missed. Which we knew already. Tomorrow is his funeral at the school that we all graduated from, this will be really hard for us, the final stages of telling him good-bye.
No matter how much time passes, we will have "moments" of remeberence and will relive his loss again. We will go on and some great day will get to see him again-racing. TONY THE TIGER we hear you ROAR!!
All of these postings everybody has been leaving, has helped me and I know it has helped his family. Thank you for all of you support through this tough time.
Michele, Dean, Shirley, Kim, Marilyn and Jeff, may God comfort you and help you through your many adjustments. Friends and family are great support but you must settle within yourselves.
