Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Roper.
We were in attendance Friday; the way we see races will never be the same.
It's hard to believe but our thoughts are of a tear and a smile, a tear for the loss but a smile for the joy and excitement that Mr.Roper provided to the race fans during his career.
May God bless his family during this difficult time.
